At the end of February, Lisa Batiashvili travels to Israel to perform with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, lead by Alan Gilbert.

These concerts will take her to Tel Aviv (February 23 and 24) and Haifa (February 26) for the first three concerts, where she’ll share the stage with soprano Anastasia Klevan and baritone Oded Reich as the soloists in Nielsen’s Symphony No. 3, while she stars in Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2. The other piece in the program is Weber’s Oberon Overture. She then returns to Tel Aviv for the last concert (February 27), in which Nielsen’s work will be replaced by Dvořák’s “New World” Symphony.
